Solar vehicles represent much of the innovation in the automotive industry for the past twenty years.



This proves that solar cars are a multidisciplinary event that isn’t just for research but to promote efficiency and renewable energy. For this reason current regulations in both the ASC and the World Solar Challenge bring the competitor’s design closer to commercial vehicles used by companies. Innovation originated from lighter composite materials, aerodynamic advances and an increase in solar cell efficiency, battery storage and electronic accuracy will push to new boundaries opening the possibilities for new efficient methods of transportation.
