Solar Engineering Vehicle One-o-One

This activity is a new workshop, based on the research that SAE SERRT-UPRM has done. It consists on the participation of High-School students from all over Puerto Rico, whose interest in the future is the optimization of solar energy-based vehicles. The workshop will contain not only a presentation of our solar vehicle, but they will also construct their own miniature solar powered vehicle, challenging their creativity & knowledge.

Airplanes with a Can

SAE SERRT-UPRM will help SAE in the coordination and running of a competition aimed at our campus’ fellow colleagues. The competition consists of several teams creating an airplane with beverage cans.

Solar Engineering Summer Camp

Week long summer camp aimed at High School students. They will learn the basics
of solar energy and its application on transportation while helping the team with the driving
and car endurance tests prior to the competition.
